Hardwood Floor Installation

A hardwood floor is only as good as what's under it and how it's laid out. We install solid and engineered hardwood with attention to the subfloor, the layout and the finish. Before the first board goes down, we check the subfloor for flatness, loose spots and moisture, and let the wood acclimate to your home so it doesn't shrink or cup after installation. We plan the layout so rows run straight, joints are staggered and the boards meet doorways and walls cleanly, then nail or glue the floor down as the product and subfloor require — so it looks right on day one and stays that way through every Connecticut season.
