Hardwood Floor Refinishing

Most tired hardwood doesn't need replacing — it needs refinishing. We sand the floor down to bare wood, working through progressively finer grits so the old finish, scratches and gray, weathered patches come off and the surface is smooth and even. Before you choose a color, we test stain samples right on your floor, because the same stain looks different on your wood and in your light than it does on a chart. Then we apply the stain and finish in the sheen you want, from matte to gloss, and talk you through water-based and oil-based finishes so you can pick the one that suits your home.
